Eighteen years. One industry. A lot of conversations.
The story
I started out as a creative, working with some of the UK's leading design and advertising agencies. Then I spent eighteen years running a creative recruitment agency, placing talent at every level from junior designer to creative director.
That's a long time in one industry, and it teaches you things you can't learn any other way. What a great portfolio looks like before you've read a word of it. Which agencies look after their people and which chew through them. What a creative director means when they say they want someone senior. When a brief is describing a real role and when it's describing a wish list.
HiiRE Creative is what I've built with all of that.
I'm not building a big agency. I'm building a good one.
How it works now
Deliberately small.
That means I work with fewer clients and know them properly. It means candidates get a real conversation rather than a screening call. It means when I recommend someone, I've thought about it.
The platform behind it handles everything a recruitment business shouldn't waste time on. Vacancies, profiles, interviews, offers, all in one place for both sides.
What's left is the part that actually needs a person.
Technology makes the process easier. Experience makes the difference. Relationships make it work.
